Beef Ambassador

Howdy!

Here we are in the middle of August, or what used to be the middle of August, fast approaching September. It seems every year as time approaches Fall, I think to myself what New Years of that year was like. Almost everytime I think about that I reflect on what the year has been for me, and I must say this year has been nothing short of amazing! I recollect all of the times I have been spending with the National Beef Ambassador Team and all that we have accomplished together. Then I get excited for what we still have yet to come in the four months left in our term of service!

Tomorrow three of us on team: Becky, Ellie, and I will be heading to the New York State Fair to promote BEEF! We will be cooking and demonstrating beef recipies, as well as helping the NY Beef Council promote our great product and celebrate BEEF day at the New York State Fair on Tuesday! Please keep up with our Facebook page, as we will be very busy, but will fill you in on the details of our experience as it happens!

I am very excited to go to NY! I’ve been there once before, but I am excited to see their state fair and how our cooking demos will go. It’s right about this time that I am VERY thankful for participating in demonstration day in 4-H!  It will be a great time, though, and like I said we will be sure to let you know how it’s going!
