Beef Ambassador

Hello all! Malorie here, blogging for Mandy-Jo as she is participating in Texas Tech Wool Judging events!

My blog today will be short, as I am studying for finals at Cal Poly! Animal Science is next on my list. I would just like to write a few sentences about the teamwork in the beef industry. I’m sure most of you have heard the saying “there’s no I in team”. Well even though it doesn’t appear in the grammatical spelling of the word, there is BEEF in team. There are many ways that this can be proved, for instance the teamwork we put together in the Yellow Tail and Pilot issues. It is imperative that we continue to work as a team in the beef industry to show consumers what we are truly made of.

All it took was Mandy-Jo to ask me if I would mind taking her blog day. I was happy to help a team member and to ensure the effectiveness of the Beef Ambassador Blog. I think that the team of National Beef Ambassadors is exceptional this year. We all have the same common goal of promoting the beef industry and have different ideas to insure that we reach that goal. Ag-vocating for the beef industry is such a special part of what the team and I do daily. It has become like a second nature to add beef into everything I do! Anytime I get the chance, I tell a person about the wonderful things the beef industry does and the background that we stand on.

With St. Patrick’s day tomorrow I hope you have all read Becky’s Blog and can possibly pick up some yummy new recipes to enjoy for the evening meal!
